Privacy notice

This notice covers bookings made through ORRA booking pages.

Who holds your data

The property you book with decides why and how your data is used. ORRA operates the booking software on its behalf and processes your data only on the property's instructions.

What we collect when you book

Your name, email address, an optional phone number, the dates and rooms you choose, any special request you write, and the amount paid. We do not collect card numbers on this site: payment details are entered with the payment provider.

Why we can use it

To take, hold and confirm your booking — that is, to perform the contract you are entering into with the property — and to meet the accounting and tax obligations that follow a payment.

Who else sees it

The property and its staff, and the payment provider that processes your payment. Payment providers operate outside Rwanda, so completing a payment transfers your contact details across a border; that transfer is recorded against your booking.

How long it is kept

Booking and payment records are kept for as long as the property's retention policy and the applicable accounting rules require. Raw technical payloads are cleared on a shorter schedule.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be erased, object to its use, or ask for its use to be restricted. Contact the property directly with your booking reference and the email you booked with.

Bookings are looked up by the pair of reference and email; we never confirm whether an email address is known to a property on its own.
